Moreno Valley residents can reserve certain park facilities such as:

  • Patios
  • Picnic Shelters

For other park facilities such as fields or specialty facilities, contact the Parks & Community Services Department for availability and rates.

What is a Community Event?

A Community Event Permit is required for organized activities held on public streets, sidewalks, or City parks that anticipate 100 or more attendees, or meet any of the following conditions:

  • Open to the public, with or without an admission fee
  • Street closures are required
  • Amplified sound is used (e.g., announcements or DJs)
  • Event amenities are included, such as: Food, retail, or craft vendors
  • Jumpers or inflatables
  • A stage or similar setup

If any of these conditions apply, a Community Event Permit Application must be submitted at least 90 days prior to the event date. No exceptions.
