Neighborhood Watch
Neighborhood Watch educates the public on crime prevention and works to bring neighborhoods together to make their community a safer place to live.
A sworn deputy, along with a sheriff volunteer, respond to different areas within the city to give classes that include training in burglary prevention, how to recognize suspicious activity/persons, personal safety and when to call 9-1-1. The training also takes the citizens through the process of reporting a crime and what to expect when calling 9-1-1.
