Libraries Closed Oct 4 for Staff Training Day

Moreno Valley Public Library depends on having thoughtful, creative, and engaged library workers and encourages their professional growth. Moreno Valley Public Library will hold its annual in-service training day on Friday, October 4, 2024. All Moreno Valley library locations will be closed for the day to enable staff to attend this important staff development training day. Regular hours of library service will resume on Saturday, October 5.
The training will provide an opportunity for staff to learn new strategies and practices that will enable them to better serve our residents. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
As usual, patrons can look to the library website www.moval.org/mv-library to access patron account information, item renewals, or fine-free checkouts of ebooks, digital audiobooks, and streaming video. For your convenience, book drops at the Iris Plaza and Main Libraries will be accessible on the day of the library closure. Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at the library!

About Moreno Valley Public Library
The fundamental goal of the Moreno Valley Public Library is to provide services that will contribute to the educational development and cultural vitality of Moreno Valley. Bibliotecas Cerradas para el Día Anual de Capacitación del Personal
La Biblioteca Pública de Moreno Valley depende de tener trabajadores bibliotecarios reflexivos, creativos y comprometidos y fomenta su crecimiento profesional. La Biblioteca Pública de Moreno Valley llevará a cabo su día anual de capacitación en servicio el viernes 4 de octubre de 2024. Todas las bibliotecas de Moreno Valley estarán cerradas durante el día para permitir que el personal asista a este importante día de capacitación para el desarrollo del personal. El horario regular del servicio bibliotecario se reanudará el sábado 5 de octubre.
La capacitación brindará una oportunidad para que el personal aprenda nuevas estrategias y prácticas que les permitirán servir mejor a nuestros residentes. Pedimos disculpas por cualquier inconveniente que esto pueda causar.
Como de costumbre, los usuarios pueden consultar el sitio web de la biblioteca www.moval.org/mv-library para acceder a la información de la cuenta del usuario, renovaciones de artículos o préstamos sin multas de libros electrónicos, audiolibros digitales y transmisión de video.
